Tonight I see the stars so brightly shine,
Though I hide in the dark shadows below.
Can only catch my eyes for they do glow.
Before I find my prey, I thirst to dine,
Drain someone of blood, and tear out their spine.
I speak of the death of Marilyn Monroe.
Tasted like fine wine beneath the chateau,
Never fed on anyone more divine.
Have no regrets of my mystical crime,
Just lust for nectar that keeps me alive.
With no shame it gets easier in time,
Killing others allows me to survive.
Rehydrate so I can stay in my prime,
As always, I find, I remain to thrive.
Petrarchan Sonnet.

Someone has been watching a lot of "The Vampire Diaries." I love it. It's a compelling, dark side of your personality that leaves me wanting to hear more!
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Melissa!!!! I had that in mind as well with Vampire Diaries! It's cool though!
